Our Value Statement
As a group we should always exemplify our motto “To God Through Stage” in what we say to one another and how we act towards one another from our first meeting through the end of the set strike.
As a group we must remember that we are St. Gregory’s first and a theater group second.
As a group we must respect one another and continually demonstrate this respect by what we say and do.
As a group we will strive to discuss issues openly and honestly at all meetings and rehearsals.
As a group we are all responsible for creating a great positive experience for everyone: cast, crew, audience and parish.
As a group we will neither exclude anyone because of personal choice nor consider “yelling at people” the normal way to conduct our activities.
As a group we must celebrate our successes – which are many – instead of highlighting where we have fallen short.
As a group we will not dwell on things in the past but will continue doing the best we can in the present always with an eye toward the future.
As a group we must strive to keep our sense of humor in tact and to have fun even while we’re working very hard.
As a group we will all share the burdens of putting on the entire show as equally as possible.
As a group we will strive to keep the lines of communication open so everyone knows what is going on.
As a group we should always remember that together we can, and will, accomplish the impossible
As a group we must look out and care for each other constantly and feel free to raise any issue which are counter to these values.
